The v0.3 update for RemiliaNET is a simple send-off of our Halloween season paired with a number of patches, improvements, and fixes. The upcoming holiday season will come with a Christmas update and preparation for a number of large features to come.

Seasonal Changes

We bid farewell to the spooky season, cleaning up candy wrappers and dusting off cobwebs from the site. We hope you managed to catch a few of the special Halloween beetlegirls this year! If you did not, no worries, they'll be back every year during Halloween to acquire as special holiday inventory items.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

Beetle Game

• The cheese hunt cooldown timer has been tweaked for better gameplay balance.
• The beetle game server has been completely rebuilt, resulting in enhanced stability and performance.
• Two significant cheese-related bugs have been fixed:
  • Cheese will no longer incorrectly appear while the cheese claim is on cooldown
  • Cheese will no longer incorrectly appear after it has already been claimed.

Chat & Communication

• Global chat replies are now working correctly
• Spam filter in Global Chat has been adjusted for aggression.
• Cross-platform integration has been improved, restoring chat shoutboxes on CULT.inc and Miladychan.

User Interface

• A crash that occurred when viewing Notifications has been resolved.
• Connection issues affecting the Activity Feed have been fixed, ensuring users can now reliably see updates and activity.

NFT Integration

Several issues affecting certain NFT collections have been addressed and resolved.

Infrastructure & Recovery

Many infrastructure reliability and operational improvements have been implemented behind the scenes to ensure better service stability. The team has also laid important backend groundwork for upcoming features that will be announced soon. Additionally, cheese streaks that were broken during the recent AWS outage have been restored for affected users.
