RemiliaNET Alpha v0.2: Beetleboy Updates, Launch Bughunting, New Collections
We would like to thank the many participants of RemiliaNET’s alpha launch and their fervent activity on the site. We will be providing regular updates itemizing our development team’s active improvements and bugfixes as we develop RemiliaNET into a public release as the ultimate user experience of the internet.
Alongside RemiliaNET itself, we are scrutinizing every aspect of Beetleboy and its integration with the social ecosystem. As you continue to catch beetles, claim cheese, poke your friends, and play with the sounds and sights of RemiliaNET, be advised that you implicitly consent to our anthropological behavior studies which will help us balance features to the point of uncontrollable constant addiction to the platform. We thank you for your participation.

Beetleboy Updates
The Beetleboy module has its own team dedicated to active ongoing development of new characters, mechanics, and cartridge gamemodes designed to evolve the overall Beetleboy game meta. We are actively monitoring player data and social media commentary to maximize both the addicting appeal and social coordination opportunities afforded by our ever-expanding gachamaxxing fidget toy.
Many of you have already noticed our active tinkering with the Beetle economy. This initial update consists of a collected patch responding to feedback and the addition of several new Beetlegirls.
Beetleboy Patch Notes:
- Only one beetle can now be caught at a time in claims and hunts, reduced from three
- Base Cheese Claim rate has been doubled
- Beetle Hunt's "no beetle" hitrate has been reduced
- Cheese Claim streak bonus has been adjusted to a more balanced curve
- Pity-counter introduced to Beetle Hunt, preventing “green hell”: when a user reaches an excessive streak of common-tier Green Beetles, they’ll automatically get a green beetle roll bumped into a "pity roll" for a higher-tier beetle, upon which the counter resets
- Beetle Hunt cheese cost has been reduced to 20 cheese per hunt down from week 2's 30 (and up from launch week's 10) upon the successful cessation of the Great Beetle Strike of 2025, through tenuous negotiation with the Beetleboy Union
- Cheese icon in Cheese Claim module has now been replaced by The Cheeseman

- Social accounts (Twitter, Discord, GitHub) now properly unlink from previous profiles when connected elsewhere
- Copy-paste exploit that allowed setting blacklisted usernames has been patched
- Superior layer caching has been implemented across all services, improving overall site performance.
General:
- Fixed friend request pending icon disappearing after poke
- Improved login error messaging for wrong password attempts
- Fixed notification overflow limiting UI display
- Removed secret button that sends an “I Love You” text message to a random Palantir employee
In the next update, our bugfix focus will be on improving the account integrations and stat intake accuracy, hunting down bot accounts and continuing to improve platform stability.
